Okay, now that I’ve seen the original video, the spoof is a little funnier, but come on guys, give ‘em a break.

The dialogue was funny enough to merit a spoof video, but I feel that the spoof was a little mean-spirited.  If you watch the original video, they’re…”mega-ramp” was much more impressive than the 2 foot kicker in the spoof, and they looked like they were having a blast.

*incoming rant*

I’ve never liked company hate within the longboarding community. Yes, you can have favorites, and you can have companies that you dislike, but that doesn’t mean that we should be mean-spirited and close-minded.

Many of these companies are either still working on building themselves into something great, and others are simply catering to a niche audience.Just because a company doesn’t cater to you, doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re a bad company.  

And those companies that are still building up? They don’t need people constantly bashing on them and ruining their sales, they need input from the community on what is wanted, and they need time to adapt to the market.

Sorry guys, one of my friends sees the longboarding industry in completely black and white terms… in his opinion, a company is either awesome (Comet, Rayne, downhill/slide companies), or they’re “shit” (Bustin, Original, push oriented/niche companies) and it really bugs me.

*end rant*
